Users manual for ImmoTool was published at GitHub
In preparation of the upcoming ImmoTool 1.0 release we've reworked the users manual and published its development files at GitHub. These files contain the raw contents and some scripts, that are used to create a modern website and different target formats (PDF, EPUB, DOCX, ODT, HTML). For the first time we're also going to translate the users manual into English language.
Where can I find the users manual?
The GitHub page only provides the raw contents of the users manual. A website with the generated users manual is available at https://manual.openestate.org. Also the users manual is available for downloaded in different formats. Besides this the users manual is provided as a separate addon in the upcoming ImmoTool 1.0 release.
Under which terms can I use the users manual?
The users manual is licensed under the terms of the CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. Therefore it is free for personal use. Only commercial use / distribution - e.g. selling the users manual to others - is prohibited. In case you're interested in a commercial use, feel free to get in contact with us.
Why are so many contents missing?
The users manual is not completed yet. Especially the English translation will still take some time. We're currently only publishing our current state of development. Within the next few weeks we're going to add the missing contents. In case your questions are not answered by the users manual, feel free to contact us via ticket system
Can I help with the documentation?
Yes. If you like to support our documentation work, feel free to get in contact with us. Editing contents is quite easy and does not require any deeper technical knowledge. Of course we will also help you with the setup and the first steps.
